We have taken on many research projects when there is often a bit of a mystery on a property. It can be regarding boundary lines, gaps in chain of title, and / or property acquired from estates with no deeds recorded,. There are a variety of needs that pop up during research. Sometimes we are required to research back to the original patent from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania where all title originates. It probably will surprise you to learn there are still properties assessed to unknown owners. We have a lot of experience in researching properties. When we are contracted to do this work we do so at an hourly rate.
